RETAINING A LAWYER
An attorney-client relationship is a personal relationship which requires the agreement of both parties and an ongoing atmosphere of communication, trust, and respect. We attempt to form such a relationship with all those who seek our services within our practice areas, but we do not accept all matters. Our agreement is required before we represent any client or any matter. Before we represent any client or matter, our Attorney-Client Engagement Agreement must be signed by the client and an attorney from our law firm. A contingent fee agreement must be executed by the client and an attorney from our law firm before the commencement of representation in a contingent fee matter.
No matters will be construed as accepted for representation by our law firm until we agree to accept them. The transmittal to us of an e-mail, fax, letter, or telephone call does not mean that we represent a client or a matter until we agree to do so in writing.
APPOINTMENTS
Consultations with legal counsel are by appointment only. Special appointment times outside normal business hours may also be scheduled as the needs of our clients require. Please call our office to arrange a convenient time for an appointment.
TELEPHONE CALLS
We are not always immediately available to answer your telephone call or email. Our office policy is to respond to all calls and emails either on the same day or the following business day if our schedule permits.
OFFICE HOURS
Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. We are available by appointment during evenings and weekends.
