Bridget Trainor has practiced law in Freeport, Illinois since returning to her home community in 2007. She graduated with highest distinction from the University of Iowa in Iowa City in 2003 with a degree in History and Secondary Education. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2007 where she was admitted to the Law Review.

She is admitted to practice law in both the state courts in Illinois and the federal courts for the Northern District of Illinois.

Bridget is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Stephenson County Bar Association where she serves as Treasurer. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Freeport Area Chamber of Commerce and serves as President of the Chamber Ambassadors. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Freeport and Stephenson County and is a member of the Lincoln Douglas 5k Race Committee and the 2011-12 Campaign Cabinet for the United Way of Northwest Illinois. She graduated from the Leadership Institute sponsored by Highland College.
